My eight year old daughter started singing lessons with Rachel at JSMS about six months ago. The first thing we noticed was just how warm and welcoming Jesse and Rachel are. My daughter is often shy and when she’s nervous she can shut down a bit. Rachel is able to make her feel safe and seen while pulling her out of her shell to learn and enjoy her lessons. I was shocked that after only a few months of lessons my daughter got up at open mic night and sang in front of people for the first time ever. She was confident and poised and sang the song she’d been practicing with Rachel and was so proud of herself. Not only did Rachel prepare her musically but she helped her feel like she could take that leap to put herself out there. My daughter sings at home every single day since starting her lessons and I hear the improvement in her skill and see the boost in her self confidence and it warms my heart. I would recommend JSMS to anyone and everyone.
